Reliquary of Saint Genevieve
The reliquary of Saint Genevieve is made of gilded copper inlaid with enamels. In the Romanesque style it is completely solid, quite long at 105 cm in length and especially heavy to carry. The reliquary features ten round medallions with the effigy of saints on the lid and two on the sides. It dates from about 1850. The reliquary is the work of the goldsmith Placide Poussielgue-Rusand (1824-1889), based on the drawings of Father Arthur Martin (1802-1856).
