
Statue of Saint Philip
The representation of the Apostle Saint Philip holds in both hands a large Latin cross, the instrument of his martyrdom. Located on the south-west corner of the spire base, this copper statue was designed by Eugene Viollet-le-Duc, sculpted by Adolphe Victor Geoffroy-Dechaume and produced by the Alteliers Monduit in 1861.
